Course Name: Sanskaar 300 - Vedic Sankaars 10 to 13
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this Course, students should be able to:
- Proficiently chant the Sandhyaa and Hawan Mantras, focusing on the Mantras’ proper enunciation and recitation as studied in the Sandhyaa and Hawan course.
- Explain the philosophy, psychology, and procedure of each segment of the Sandhyaa (e.g. Jala Sinchana, etc.) and respective sections of the Hawan sacrament (Eeshwar Stuti Praarthano’paasana, Swasti Vachanam, Shaanti Karanam, etc.).
- Proficiently chant and accurately perform Sanskaars 10-13(b) – Upa-nayana,Vedaa’rambha, Samaa’vartana, Vaag Daan, and Haldwaan.
- Describe the Philosophical significance, Psychological importance, and Procedural application for all five Sanskaars mentioned above.
